My portfolio
In the shadow of risk. Will Ukraine experience another Chernobyl?
It’s just two hundred kilometres away from the war’s frontline, it’s lifetime has already expired, but despite that it was extended. If there is a nuclear waste leak, it won’t affect just Dnieper River, but the whole Black Sea. The biggest European nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia remains a time bomb with possible destiny of another Chernobyl.
A feature article about the life next to the biggest nuclear power plant in Europe compare to the Chernobyl disaster.
The article was published in MONO.sk in Slovak, together with daily newspaper SME and other media.
It was also published in Italian Q CODE Mag, website of Spanish news agency Europa Press, in Bulgarian economy magazine Capital, Hungarian news website Faktor.hu and Czech magazine Respekt.
You can find ENGLISH TRANSLATION of the article here.

Travel reporting
As a reporter, I published several travel articles, mostly in Slovak language. I was covering trekking in Georgia, coffee-growing in Rwanda. I worked on several interesting topics in Northern Italy – I learned how to make a parmesan cheese, how to produce a violin, what are the secrets of Bologna and what to visit in Bolzano.
I am focusing also on human rights and responsible traveling. While in Thailand I was covering the ethical question of visiting so-called ‚long-neck women‘ villages. In Rwanda I was focusing on reconciliation proccess after the genocide.
Spectacular Slovakia – travel guide
For several years I was contributing to the English-language guide Spectacular Slovakia. The magazine shows the beauties of Slovakia through both travel stories and people’s stories.
I was covering the beauties of Slovak regions Liptov, talked about the war history with people who survived Nazism, wrote about exploring of caves, rafing on Slovak rivers, about traditional food or about historical figures in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia.
Even during my free time I am trying to show our country to the foreigners – mostly as a member of Couchsurfing community.
